All that we do at Carronhill School needs to be with the child/learner at the centre. The UN Rights Respecting School is no exception.
Everything from the routines, to the national awards, certifications and curriculum is always evaluated with the term "why?" and "what will our uniques learners understand?" as we make learning meaningful and relevant for them.
In 2026 we embarked on the journey to look further into how we can ensure our pupils receive the rights than they need and are entitled to, when most are unaware of the responsibilities of others to protect their rights. Our pupils have complex learning needs and as a staff we are working to ensure that all staff, parents/carers and the community can ensure that their rights and needs are met.
